ACCOUNTING All the features for gathering the accounting information for reports, IRS reporting, etc., from all packages. 08. AUDIT CENTER All reports from each of the five packages are conveniently listed on one menu for auditors. 09. MC OFFICE MAINTENANCE Where codes, etc., are set up for the general programs. The final grouping of selections features helpful tools for lenders. 10. FINANCE I A number of features to compute payments, provide answers for borrowers, etc. 11. RELEASE NOTICE Informs the operator of what changes have been made to the software with the latest release. 12. DATA-TRANSFER/RECEIVE This is called MC MAILBOX. Information from the MC OFFICE Software programs is transferred to or received from other vendors' software.
Mortgage Banker is comprised of twenty-one functions to integrate data from the front end, automating loan processing from pre-qualification and loan application to closing, selling, and HMDA reporting. The 1003 Loan Application is entered either in your offices or in the field by laptop using MC's RapidApp programs. All documents, including the Truth-in-Lending and Good Faith Estimate, are printed using laser printers. More than 600 pre-designed reports are available. However, with the several specialized packages, it is difficult for an auditor to know which menus to select in order to print a particular report. The AUDIT CENTER menu displays the reports from all packages that normally are requested by auditors. The same reports are still available as menu selections in each specialized package. This feature makes it easy for your auditors (in-house or external) to print reports without interrupting employees. The employee saves time by not having to show the auditor or know what is being done by the auditor. Data is available to the auditors but cannot be modified from any of these screens. |

AUDIT CONTROL All pages of the Transaction Register are numbered by the program and are printed in the upper-right-hand corner. All pages of the Loan Modify Audit are numbered by the program and are printed in the upper-right-hand corner. Modifications to employee loans are highlighted.
Data that pertains to each of the MC OFFICE Software packages is set up and maintained from one centralized section. INTEREST INDEX TABLES are used in Mortgage Banker, Construction, and Loan Servicing packages. This feature eliminates duplication of effort and possible errors. A SECURITY PROGRAM for all of the software is provided. This package provides controlled access to the system by: The program maintains a history log that produces a record of all the people logged on, what terminal they used, which menus they were in, and time of day. The Security package protects data from sabotage, disasters, entry into restricted screen selections, or corporate espionage. |

Information on the status of a loan in Loan Servicing is sent to the Mailbox. List of all teller payments to be received. Receive Teller Payments accepts the payment and creates a transaction for the item. Transaction data need not be re-entered for the payments. MC bills for the loan payment when due, thus saving you from keeping a maintenance file. When payments change (Escrow, ARM), MC bills correct amounts automatically and provides: TRANSACTION HISTORY Transfer to the Mailbox the Transaction History on each loan. This data is in file sequence and can be merged with other software for consolidated statements or reports. ACCOUNTING TRANSFER The accounting information from the various MC OFFICE Software packages is gathered in this file to be sent to accounting. CREDIT LINE Information detailing draws, etc., is transferred to the Mailbox where another software package can pick up the data for use in reports or consolidated statements. HMDA HMDA is a real estate requirement and regulation. Data on loans made in other departments not using MC software can transfer by electronic media, and loans not processed through the MC OFFICE Software can be merged with MC loans for single reporting.

A Central Index File stores the name of the borrower and co-borrower, Social Security Number, Tax ID number, loan number, indicating if the loan is active or not. The data is stored for every loan that has ever been entered into the software packages offered by MC OFFICE Software. The key to the Central Index File is by Social Security Number. When the Social Security Number is entered at the time of application (by pressing a function key), the program will search the Central Index File for a match. This is a great feature for companies who make housing authority loans, when one of the requirements is the borrower can have only one loan. It is used by other lenders (credit unions) offering special one-time loans to members. |
