ICOBOL
To run MC software, an ICOBOL runtime parallel port security dongle device with the appropriate
license is necessary (can also be licensed with the MAC Ethernet number if no parallel port is installed).
This is available in 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 17, 33, or higher user count. Contact Mortgage Computer to purchase
or upgrade the ICOBOL license.
Modems
100% Hayes compatible 28,800 baud or higher recommended.
Communication
WebEx or PCAnywhere
by Symantec are the recommended and supported communication
software. They allow remote diagnostics, support, training and transfer of files/programs over a modem
or Internet connection. PCAnywhere is available for Win98, Win NT, Win 2000 and Win XP, and allows
connection for diagnostics or file transfer via a modem or network from a remote location. On a UNIX
system with a PC connected using Telnet and TCP/IP for file transfer, SmarTerm
Office 10.0 or higher is recommended. This also works on PCs connected serially to a UNIX system.
