Question

    What files can I delete to resolve Document and/or Delayed Stack Print problems?

Answer

    To clean up files associated with these two functions, the following can be deleted and will be rebuilt as needed.


Be sure everyone is out of MC before deleting any of these files! Also be sure to use the filenames EXACTLY as shown.


    This will delete all of those we need to delete but none of those with similar names we want to keep.

    For AOS systems:

    Type: dir :mcadata <ENTER>
    Type: del/v filename <ENTER>

For AOS systems replace the * in the filenames below with +.


    For DOS systems:

    Type: cd\mcadata <ENTER>
    Type: del filename <ENTER>

    For UNIX systems:

    Type: cd /mc/mcadata <ENTER>
    Type: rm filename <ENTER>

    Repeat Step 2 for each filename listed below:

      lpd1*
      lpd8*
      mbzque*
      lpd2*
      lpd9*
      lpdoc*
      lpd3*
      tz*
      tm*      		 lpd4*
      sort*
      tem*
      lpd5*
      driver*
      tx*
