Printing Checks on Okidata Printers
| Question
When I print checks on my Okidata 320 printer, I get 12345X printed on the top and bottom of each check. Why? Answer The printer is not set up correctly in MC Software. Go to PRINTER CODES (09.08) and change the printer from an HP printer to an ASCII printer. What the software is doing is sending the HP reset code to the printer, and since the Okidata ASCII printer does not use that code, it prints it on the check. Set Okidata printers in MC Software to ASCII printer and it resolves the problem. |
