1. What personal information is collected?

MC does not collect personal information from visitors to its Web sites without their consent. Our FTP site does log every IP address and the files downloaded to provide us technical data for troubleshooting.

Customer Support responds to e-mail, telephone, fax, and all other inquiries received. To best answer your question or satisfy your request, we may require additional personal information. We also use the information gathered from customer correspondence to improve our services and ability to contact our customers with important information.

Some personal information is gathered when you enter the feedback page. We ask for your name, e-mail address, etc. The more information you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we are able to provide service.

MC may ask you for personal information at other times, including (but not limited to) when you purchase supplies, complete our feedback page, enter for a free gift, contest or promotion. If you contact MC via e-mail, fax, regular mail or other means, we may keep a record of these correspondences. We also occasionally ask customers to complete questionnaires and surveys that we use for research purposes. Wherever we collect personal information, we are adding a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

MC does not use cookies at this time. We reserve the right to use them at any time in the future. You will need to turn on the accept cookies on your browser to allow the following to occur on most Web sites that use cookies.

Designed to provide customizable and personalized services, sites will use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer's hard drive.

Most sites where you are prompted to log in or that are customizable require that you accept cookies.

General use of cookies:

(1) Remind us of who you are and to access your account information (stored on our computers) in order to deliver to you a better and more personalized service. This cookie is set when you register or "Sign In" and is modified when you "Sign Out" of our services. A cookie may be used to store your ZIP Code for other services, such as Yellow Pages.

(2) Estimate Web audience size. Each browser accessing a page can be given a unique cookie which is then used to determine the extent of repeat usage, usage by a registered user versus by an unregistered user, and to help target advertisements based on user interests and behavior.

(3) Assist merchants. Tracks the visits to and purchases at their stores, and to process the items in a shopping cart/basket. This information collected by cookies is sometimes called "clickstream" or "click trail" and may also describe which pages you have seen in each merchant's store.

(4) Track your progress and number of entries in some of our promotions, sweepstakes, and contests. When a promotion uses cookies, the information written to the cookie indicates the player's progress through the promotion, and may be used to track entries, submissions, and status in prize drawings.

(5) Measure certain traffic patterns, which areas of their Web sites you have visited, and your visiting patterns in whole. This can be researched to understand how your habits are similar to or different from another. This information may be used to better personalize the content, banners, and promotions that you and others will see on sites.
