| MC is planning on the 2006 Year End Software Update to be completed and available before the end of November. Included in
the 2006 Year End Update:
IRS Update The electronic file to IRS includes a minor change to increase field size of the e-mail address and decrease the size of some other fields. IRS will no longer accept a diskette. HMDA It will be necessary for you to download the HMDA Data Entry Software Version 3.20 (www.ffiec.gov/software/default.aspx). Changes to the HMDA verification have been made. RapidApp A few enhancements have been added along with improvements to the software. RapidApp Pro The software program has been updated with changes in the calculations, screen displays, and a few corrections and improvements in the software. RapidApp and RapidApp Pro are valuable tools to use. WebApp Many enhancements have been added to this package. It is hoped that MC customers will utilize this fine package that provides 24/7 customer access to apply for a real estate loan. WebApp is far less expensive than similar software and links to the MC OFFICE and the new Mortgage Office Software. MC OFFICE SOFTWARE In the various packages of MC OFFICE Software, there have been only a few corrections, improvements, and enhancements. When you receive the update, refer to the documentation for information on the minor changes. An updated 2006 Year End PowerPoint guide will be posted around the first part of December. This guide will provide instructions on "What To Do At Year End." |
